A student spotlight allows your student to show off their project or accomplishment from the past year.
Sumbission Requirements:
- student's first and last name, age, and mailing address
- a paragraph of 500 words or less written by the student describing their project or accomlishment
- a portrait of the student (Does not need to be professional. We just want to see their face.)
- 1-5 pictures of the project or accomplishment
- Optional: A link to a related video or website (ie a YouTube video of your student's performance, a link to a book they wrote now on Amazon, etc.)
- a signed publication release waiver (click here to get it)
Sample Student Spotlight ideas include:
- a lego creation you built or invented
- a short story, poem, or essay you wrote (You can submit any writing samples as Student Spotlights, separate from the writing contest.)
- a choir, dance, or musical performance; a gymnastics or matrial arts competition, etc.
- a cool project you did for history or science
If your accomplishment is harder to write a long paragraph about or take a picture of, consider submitting it as a Big Win.
